Transformed Tidbits: 6/19/09

News from the last fortnight . . .

1. Abigail can now legally travel to and from the UK, so feel free to book her some plane tickets. (Fine print: Purchase of Abigail’s ticket also requires the purchase of two adult tickets for the same flight).

2. We’ve had some unique summers. For example, the words “Lower Melton,” “one mile solo portage,” and “No ma’am, I don’t actually work for Wal-Mart,” come to mind. This is, however, the first summer since we started preschool that at least one of us hasn’t had a “summer break.” That, of course, is a testimony to our age, but what do you want us to do, speed up time?

3. In the 9/12/08 edition of Tidbits Jeff wrote: “NHL Training camps are just around the corner. Be sure to jump on the Penguins bandwagon in time for this year's run to the Cup.” That is why you should always listen to Jeff. And yes, getting up for three hours in the middle of the night to watch Game 7 was worth the weekend of fatigue.

4. Allison does not like lettuce on her sandwiches. Cucumber, yes. Lettuce, no. If you can figure that out, please let Jeff know.

5. Is it a sign that you've definitely entered parenthood if you watch the rest of Baby Einstein while your child sleeps so you can learn about the rest of the neighborhood?

Blessings.

As for your fifth point yes, how true it is. I also am a more educated person learning about signs through einstein.
