There were quite a few activities . . .
1. Allison took a spin on a 4-wheeler, which are called Quad-bikes here in the UK:
2. Jeff got to hold an African Spotted Owl (and see quite a few other birds of prey):
3. Abigail got to gaze at some inflatable wonders (n.b. the Ardoe House Hotel was not inflatable):
4. We both took time to shoot a few arrows:
Some of you may know that Jeff is quite good at archery and so Allison saw it as her duty to make him enter the archery contest.Here he is with the first place "trophy," the runner-up (one of Allison's good friends from work) and a large quantity of Wisconsin cheese (that was for you Matt and Mike).
It was a gorgeous day and we had a great time. The only things missing were Cheese Brats and Ultimate Frisbee. Maybe next year Abigail can get in on the fun (or at least smile for the camera).

The Wisconsin is HILARIOUS...I have a picture of Mike in my mind right now mocking that picture...utterly hilarious.
Matt: The only picture in my mind is of your quintessential Wisconsin at Hannibal. You need to frame that and put it up next to the Legend.
They must throw quite the bbq in the uk. I too find my bbq's incomplete without varied and sundry birds of prey.
