Sitting Up

We briefly mentioned in Axioms this week that Abigail has begun sitting up. Well, we wanted to let the world know that her skills have increased ten-fold since Saturday. She is now sitting up on her own with very few wobbles for 5-10 minutes at a time. What a clever girl.

A fortnightly foray into Abigail's world

1. There are so many wonderful things to stick in one's mouth. It is impossible to forget one's toes as well.


2. Viruses that cause conjunctivitis and colds are no fun at all.

3. Don't be fooled; sippy cups are more fun to chew on than they are a source a beverage.


4. Who knew that all the barnyard animals make funny noises? They are just so silly (and fun to eat).

5. Reading with the ones you love makes for a nice afternoon.


6. Sitting up is not as tough as it looks. Well...maybe it is.

A fortnightly foray into Abigail's world

1. A great afternoon consists of lounging with Daddy and watching Wimbeldon.

2. Peek-a-boo is a really fun game to play.

3. Out of all of the farm animals, pigs make the best noise and are the best to chew on.

4. No one ever said a pacifier couldn't be used simply as another toy to toss around and pop in and out of one's mouth.

5. Bananas are yummy. Stuffed ones that is.

A Day at the Beach

We have had some gorgeous weather here in Aberdeen. It has been so nice, in fact, that we have even heard some native Aberdonians complain that it is "too hot." For us Nebraskans, it has been perfect. We decided to seize an opportunity to walk down to the beach this past weekend and expose Abigail to the feel of sand and the fresh sea breeze.





We also took a quick break at the park to see how Abigail liked the swing. She didn't seem too impressed.
